A doorway that has been off-limits to EPCOT guests since April is open again, but the Mexico World Showcase Pavilion pyramid isn't quite finished with construction yet.
One Entrance Returns to Service

WDWNT reported on Tuesday that the front-left entrance to the iconic pyramid in the Mexico World Showcase Pavilion has reopened. The rope and stanchions that had been keeping guests out of that doorway are down, restoring a second entry and exit point to the building that houses the Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros attraction, the San Angel Inn Restaurante, and several shops.
In February, the left-side entrance first closed, and scaffolding began appearing on the outside of the pyramid — the earliest sign that something more significant than routine upkeep was underway. By April, the front-left entrance had also closed, funneling all guest traffic through a single right-side doorway.
The Left Side Remains a Work in Progress

Tuesday's reopening covers only the front-left entrance. The far-left doorway is still inaccessible, blocked from the inside by a scrim-covered column and a sign reading “please use an alternate exit,” with stanchions and rope reinforcing the closure. Scaffolding continues to line the pyramid's exterior, and Disney cast members appear to still be active on the building's theming — work that has included what looks to be the addition of Mesoamerican-inspired decorative elements to the structure's outer face.
Walt Disney World Resort has not publicly addressed the refurbishment at any point during the three months it has been underway, offering no details on the project's scope or when guests can expect the remaining entrance to reopen.
Business as Usual Inside the Pyramid

Whatever is happening on the outside of the building hasn't touched what's inside. The San Angel Inn Restaurante, Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros, and the Mexico World Showcase Pavilion's merchandise locations are all open and operating on their normal schedules.

Not worth the money. Construction and maintenance of parks very poor.
