Amazon MGM’s upcoming 007 film reboot, commonly referred to by fans and media outlets as James Bond 26, has officially assembled its creative team, with Denis Villeneuve (the Dune films) directing, Steven Knight (Peaky Blinders) writing, and Amy Pascal (Spider-Man: Brand New Day) and David Heyman (the Harry Potter films) producing.
However, despite countless reports and rumors, the studio has yet to announce its new James Bond actor. But that doesn't mean there haven't already been plenty of new 007 castings.
Earlier this year, Patrick Gibson became Bond in IO Interactive's video game 007 First Light. More recently, Isaac Rouse was cast as the teenage Bond in Young Bond: SilverFin, an upcoming full-cast audio drama based on Charlie Higson's first Young Bond novel.
Charlotte McBurney will voice Wilder Lawless, while Higson himself recently joined the cast as Michael Merriot, Bond's mentor at Eton College. The series arrives in October.
But SilverFin isn't the only upcoming Bond project featuring new talent.
Higson is also behind King Zero, his first adult Bond novel since his 2023 short story On His Majesty's Secret Service.
The book follows Bond as he investigates the murder of an agent in the Saudi desert and uncovers a dangerous conspiracy. It will be released September 24, and it has now been confirmed that the audiobook will be narrated by none other than actor Peter Serafinowicz (Star Wars: Episode I — The Phantom Menace, Shaun of the Dead, Guardians of the Galaxy).
The official Ian Fleming Publications social media account shared the announcement recently:

So, while Amazon MGM's next movie remains without its new 007, there are already plenty of James Bond adventures with official castings on the way.
