Walt Disney World visits don't always have to begin with weeks of planning, especially if you happen to be an Annual Passholder.
As September begins, Disney is giving eligible Passholders a couple of opportunities to make their park plans a little more spontaneous. The timing comes as Halloween celebrations continue around the resort and guests begin turning their attention toward fall visits.
For Annual Passholders, two dates in particular have now become worth circling.
Disney has officially added an early September perk to the calendar, removing one familiar planning requirement for eligible guests. Better yet, more dates could be added as the month progresses.
Passholders Have Several Ways to Save
Theme park admission may be the main reason to purchase a Walt Disney World Annual Pass, but Disney attaches several other benefits to the program.
Hotel savings can be one of them.
Disney periodically offers Annual Passholder rates at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels. Available discounts vary by promotion and travel dates, but they can offer Passholders another option when planning an overnight trip.
Savings also extend into the parks and resorts.
Annual Passholders can receive discounts at participating dining and merchandise locations throughout Walt Disney World. For guests who visit regularly, saving on meals and purchases can become another useful part of having a Pass.
Separately ticketed events can offer another opportunity.
Passholders receive discounted tickets for eligible dates of certain events, including Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
Not every Passholder benefit revolves around saving money, either.
Disney has offered exclusive merchandise, special menu items, photo opportunities, and other limited-time experiences specifically for Passholders. New and updated attractions have also received Annual Passholder previews before officially opening to everyone.
There is also a benefit Passholders can use during regular theme park visits: complimentary standard parking.
Now, September is adding another perk to the list.
Disney Adds Two Dates to the Calendar
September 2 and September 3 are officially the first Good to Go Days at Walt Disney World for September 2026.
For eligible Annual Passholders, those dates remove the need to make a theme park reservation before visiting.
Theme park reservations can still be required for Passholders, depending on when and how they visit. Good to Go Days provide an exception, allowing eligible Passholders to head to the parks without securing that reservation beforehand.
Other Annual Pass rules still apply.
Guests need a valid admission, and Passholders remain subject to any blockout dates associated with their particular Annual Pass.
The newly added dates also continue an opportunity that Passholders received immediately before September began.
August 31 was a Good to Go Day as well, putting three of these dates close together as Walt Disney World moves from the end of summer into September.
Passholders shouldn't necessarily assume September 3 will be the end of the list, either.
Disney periodically adds Good to Go Days so that additional dates can appear on the calendar later.
That makes the Passholder calendar worth checking throughout September, particularly for anyone hoping to make a less structured trip to Walt Disney World.
Halloween Offers Another September Perk
There is another reason some Annual Passholders may already have Magic Kingdom in their September plans.
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is well underway, with the separately ticketed event taking over Magic Kingdom on select nights.
Guests attending the party can experience trick-or-treating, character appearances, seasonal entertainment, attraction offerings, and other Halloween activities during event hours.
Passholders also have an added incentive to attend.
Annual Passholders can receive a small discount when purchasing tickets for eligible Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party dates.
And September still has some availability.
Based on the availability included in this article, September 24, September 25, September 27, and September 29 remain available.
Those dates give guests who haven't purchased party tickets another opportunity to attend before the month ends.
Availability isn't guaranteed to remain that way, however. Guests with a particular night in mind may want to purchase tickets before their preferred option becomes unavailable.
For Passholders already considering a September Walt Disney World trip, the remaining dates could also allow for a regular park visit and a Halloween party in the same getaway.
September Is Starting Strong for Passholders
Walt Disney World Annual Passholders now have two confirmed dates that should make early September visits easier.
September 2 and September 3 are Good to Go Days, allowing eligible Passholders to skip the usual theme park reservation requirement.
They follow the August 31 Good to Go Day, and Disney could add additional dates as September continues.
Meanwhile, Passholders still have their usual collection of benefits to consider, including participating dining and merchandise discounts, resort offers, complimentary standard theme park parking, exclusive experiences, attraction previews, and discounts for eligible dates of Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
September has only just started, leaving plenty of time for Disney to add more opportunities.
For Passholders hoping to spend more time in the parks this fall, the calendar will be worth watching.
