The price of a Walt Disney World vacation continues to climb, and guests planning trips for 2027 are getting another reminder of just how expensive staying on Disney property has become.
Hotel rates for next year are already available, and some March prices shared online show Disney's traditionally cheaper resorts crossing a surprising threshold.
We're talking more than $300 per night for a standard room at a Value Resort.
Pop Century Reaches $315 Per Night
Disney Clips Guy recently shared a look at several Disney World Resort hotel prices for a week in March 2027.
“There seem to be some big resort price increase in 2027!” the account wrote. “These are the future stay prices for several resorts in March! That starting price for Coronado is creeping up there for sure!”
During the week shared, Disney's Pop Century Resort was listed at $315 for a standard room.
That's an eye-catching number for a hotel Disney still places within its Value Resort category.
Pop Century has historically served as one of Disney World's more affordable on-property options. Longtime visitors may even remember when rooms could be found for well under $100 per night.
Now, guests visiting during certain busy periods could find themselves paying more than three times that amount.
At $315 per night, a five-night stay would cost $1,575 before park tickets, food, Lightning Lane purchases, airfare, or anything else is added.
Moderate and Deluxe Resorts Are Climbing, Too
Pop Century isn't alone.
During the same March period, Disney's Coronado Springs Resort was listed at $395, while Disney's Port Orleans Resort reached $406.
Those properties fall within Disney's Moderate Resort category, but nightly prices approaching or exceeding $400 may make some families reconsider how much they're willing to spend for an on-property stay.
Then there's Disney's BoardWalk Inn.
The Deluxe Resort was listed at $925 per night during the period shared.
Seven nights at that price would cost $6,475 for the room alone.
Discounts Could Help, but They're Not Guaranteed
There is some important context.
Disney hotel prices fluctuate significantly depending on travel dates. These rates don't mean Pop Century will cost more than $300 every night or BoardWalk will always approach $1,000.
Disney also frequently releases discounts that can lower hotel costs.
However, guests can't count on a promotion being available for their dates, resort, or preferred room category. That makes regular rates particularly important when families initially budget for a vacation.
And while these 2027 numbers aren't dramatically higher than some rates we've already seen, they continue a familiar pattern.
Disney World prices are gradually moving higher.
A Value Resort costing $315 per night may be the clearest example yet of how much the definition of an “affordable” Disney hotel has changed.
